The married pops of four adult children ended up being quietly working in his backyard garden while his wife had been out shopping when, without warning, he recalls, "something came about me".

Trinity College's Conversation and Language Therapy Office had set up a special party, The Aphasia Advocacy for Accessibility group, for a group of people using communication difficulties.
This group decided to hold their innovative training programme in a chaotic city centre coffee shop, Mug, on Dublin's Nassau street.
Members of the audience designed a training programme for any staff of Cup coffeehouse .
They devised a programs which aimed Belstaff London to provide recognition about communication difficulties and also tips for dealing with people with transmission difficulties.
Following the training, the particular Cup Cafe was given a "Communication Friendly logo" from Trinity Parajumpers Kodiak Black School.
The Trinity project caught the eye of speech therapists Niamh Barrett and Aine Lawlor, who provide the Adult Neighborhood Speech and Language Service in Dublin South West.
"We were alert to the project in Trinity and the dependence on something similar in our area," makes clear Aine.
'We wanted to try and remove a number of the communication barriers people with transmission difficulties face."
Many people approached Rua Red, a popular coffee house in Tallaght about bringing this initiative to Tallaght, and to the delight the management of the particular cafe Longchamp Le Pliage Outlet agreed to be involved:
Similar to the Trinity College project, people in the Tallaght group came together to manufacture a tailor made practical training course for the staff of Rua Red cafe.
They spent some Fridays working on the programme, that aimed to increase the personnel's awareness of communication difficulties and offer practical strategies for dealing with individuals with communication difficulties.
"It was really essential for the project that it was the people independently who gave the training, because they are the true 'experts' on communication troubles and they shared their experiences of difficulties they experience on a daily basis," says Aine.
The courses day with the staff involving Rua Red went extremely well.
"The staff responded very positively and took away practical tactics, including knowing about aphasia, giving more time, re checking orders.
